Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. 8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

I am what I am. That is a common rallying cry for those who are proud of the way they are and treat iy as a calling in life, even if they disbelieve in a “Caller”. So many people lift themselves up in their own eyes and whoever does not like it should just “get over it.” Paul had the right idea about his calling in life. He may have felt pride about his past treatment of Christians but when grace entered his life, his pride was the first to go. He was the least and his calling was, as Dr. Dan Allen says, “better than I deserve.”

Come to Cape Community Church tomorrow as Dr. Dan speaks to us about the riches of his mercy and grace, even while suffering through cancer. Let us gather together to receive encouragement and blessing from this servant of the Lord, called despite his many sins and failings. He is one of us and will teach all of us how the one above all of us can lift us up and call us to his holy kingdom. Let us cling to the Lord so when the next hurdle comes our way, the working of his power will help us…

Got over it.
