Isaiah 24:1-3
Behold, the LORD will empty the earth and make it desolate,
and he will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants.
2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest;
as with the slave, so with his master;
as with the maid, so with her mistress;
as with the buyer, so with the seller;
as with the lender, so with the borrower;
as with the creditor, so with the debtor.
3 The earth shall be utterly empty and utterly plundered;
for the LORD has spoken this word.
Death does not discriminate. It does not care if you are rich or poor, good or evil, it is coming. It reminds us somewhat of God’s judgment in Isaiah 24. This is Isaiah describing the end of all things, chaos. Paul described it in these terms; every knee shall bow. It does not matter if you have said all your life that you will tell God off if you ever see him. You will see him. You will say only that Jesus Christ is Lord…on your knees. All this will happen but Revelation says that there will be those that worship the Lord.
I pray you are one of those people who worship the returning Christ because he died for your sins and you believe he is Lord. I pray you are not angry at God for things like what is going on in Ukraine and elsewhere. I pray you know that no war on earth compares to the devastation to come when God judges the world and finds that none were good, not one. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved…
